Yay, my first blogpost!

From now on, I will occasionally put some diatribes and thoughts inside, that are too unwieldy for the microblogging pages. So maybe visit this site for new stuff or old stuff, if I happen to create a banger of a blogpost. Unlikely, but who knows?

I rebuilt this webpage with Jekyll, and… oh boy, this is quite nice, actually. After creating my first landing page, my progress wat put to a stop almost immediately. “Do I really have to redo this for every single page?” - Of course not! But where to start with all these options of CMSes, Static Site Generators, scripting and programming languages. It’s a whole ecosystem, enough to fill a zoo or two!

So I picked Jekyll as a start. Once I understood the gist of it, I was really hooked… if only my mental energy reserves weren’t depleted. So after a few more months, I put some more effort into this, rewrote the page again (which also decluttered my page a lot!), et voila: This is the result!

Quite colorful, simple shapes. Good for a practice. I think, I’ll leave this design for a while, until I got some ideas for improvement. There are some placeholders, anyway, soooo….
